The Lincoln Bar Association (LBA) is a non-profit corporation organized for educational and charitable purposes for lawyers located in Lincoln and Lancaster County, Nebraska. LBA’s mission is to maintain high standards of integrity, honor and courtesy in the practice of the legal profession and to cultivate a spirit of good relationship and fellowship among its members.

The LBA’s fiscal year begins in July. Association membership allows attorneys to attend informative clinics and enjoyable social events. Several of the clinics may also be eligible for continuing legal education credit.

The LBA is managed by Officers and the Board of Trustees.

The Association’s annual kick-off event is Field Day, scheduled each October on Columbus Day. Then from November through March, the Association hosts monthly clinics that are followed by a social hour and either hors d’oeuvres or dinner. The year’s activities conclude in April when the Association holds its annual meeting. See the Event Calendar.
